Frequently Asked Questions

  • What's included in the price?
    Our goal is to make sure your day is relaxing, no need for calculating tips etc. Tour prices include all costs. (see below) All wine tasting fees Lunch for all tours more than 5 hours Transportation to and from the locations. (location for pick up and drop off will be the same, however, drop offs can be arranged if. there is time, otherwise additional transport costs may be added). Other transportation costs (if applicable) All Gratuities/taxes for driver and wine staff and other staff (20%) Cost of spa if applicable Wine during lunch and/or welcome glass of bubbly Water (still and sparkling). The cost for each tour will depend on the number of people in your party and the type of transport you choose. Generally wineries start at $40 per person for the personalized tours and can go up to $150 per person for customized tours. Whoever is responsible for booking the tour will receive a PDF itinerary showing a detailed list of locations on the tour and a schedule.   • Are meals included?
    Lunch is always included in tours of 6 hours or more. Depending on the tour, lunch will be a gourmet style picnic lunch or prepared directly at the winery. We are happy to provide dinner recommendations at the end of the tour. For custom tours we can include additional meals as requested.
  • How many people will be in the tour group?
    Day package tours can include up to 12 people. For tours greater than 6 people, an additional fee will be added. Many wineries charge extra for groups more than 6 and some wineries do not take larger groups. We will discuss this in full detail with you as our pricing is listed for up to 6 people.
  • Can I arrange pickup at my lodging?
    Yes. If there is a group we can pick up from one destination provided it is within a 20 mile radius in one of the main towns in Sonoma County.
  • What time does my tour begin and end?
    For day tours, the general start time is around 9:30am. We ask you to have breakfast on your own and we will provide a welcome drink for the meet and greet. The full day tours are 7 or 8 hours and we also have half day tours. We can also do other custom tours with a minimum of 4 to 5 hours, depending on weekday or weekend. We require timely starts to avoid any delays. Your itinerary will note how many hours and the time allotted for each event.
  • Are food and beverages allowed in the tour vehicle?
    Yes! We use fully licensed tour operators for our chauffeured services. Sit back and relax in our ultra-luxury vehicle. You are welcome to bring your own coffee and snacks with you, as we will be providing a generous lunch for any tour more than 5 hours. We will provide sparkling and still water.
  • What if we are red wine drinkers only?
    We share your love! You can see we have the Pinot Tour. All of our tours can be customized, so if you are not into bubbles or white wines that are usually part of our personalized tours, we can also prepare a customized tour to include only Zins, Cabs, Pinots and other red varietals.   • Why do the tours not list the wineries?
    We will share with you once we start to work with you and you have paid a deposit. We don't share the tours, as we have done alot of research and selection before we decide to select each winery. It's our way of keeping it a little secret too. If you have a winery you want to include, we can always modify and customize each tour.
  • What is the Cancellation policy and Terms and Conditions?
    We require a deposit for all tours before we prepare your itinerary. This is usually after a discussion via phone call. The payments are as follows: Personalized tours- $150 (up to 6 people) Customized tours- $200 (up to 6 people) If there are over 6 people. in your tour, it will require an additional deposit depending on the number of people in the tour. The cost of each tour is dependent on the number of people in your tour, and your transport choice. Personalized tour costs are listed on each description in "tours" as noted. For customized tours, we will work with your budget. A 4 hour minimum tour is required. Once a deposit it made, you will be sent an invoice to pay the full amount, due at least 10 days prior to the tour start date. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to the tour start date for full refund. For cancellations made after 72 hours, there will be no refund. We do our best to keep prices current for the tours, however, if there is any change with any of our partners at the time of booking, we will immediately contact you and discuss the best alternative (if needed). If there are any other changes to the destination due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a suitable alternative and discuss this with you in advance. To avoid cancellation and trip changes costs, please consider protecting your tour with travel insurance.
  • Do you book hotels and airfare?
    We focus on day tours only, however, once we start working with you, we can advise you on hotels/airfare and travel to and from the airport. We have partnered with several hotels who we enjoy working with and know they will provide the level of service that we expect. We prefer you to get the best deals/use your frequent flyers points etc. when booking hotels and airfares and can also advise on airports/transfers etc.
  • How are payments set up?
    All payments are listed per person and will be paid based on the number of people in your tour. For example, if there are 5 people in your group, one person will make the full payment rather than each person booking. We require a deposit for all tours before we prepare your itinerary. This is usually after a discussion via phone call. The payments are as follows: Personalized tours- $150 (up to 6 people) Customized tours- $200 (up to 6 people) If there are over 6 people. in your tour, it will require an additional deposit depending on the number of people in the tour. Payment will be made online and credit card, apple pay are accepted. After initial deposit, an invoice will be created for the remainder of the payment. We require deposit at time of books, and full payment 10 days prior to tour start. Please review the cancellation policy.
  • What are the transport options?
    All tours have the option of using a private luxury car with driver or if you prefer a driver to drive your rental or personal car, we have a team of fully licensed drivers that charge an hourly rate (min 6 hours). There may be an additional fee for pickup depending on where you are located. We have also partnered with several other tour operators that include e-bike, trikes and road bikes.
