Service Description
A Day in France – Without Leaving Sonoma I’m a Francophile at heart — and nothing brings me more joy than recreating the feeling of a perfect day in France, right here in Sonoma. Spend the day surrounded by vineyards, lavender fields, and a touch of French at every stop. 9:00 AM – Bonjour Breakfast Begin your day at a charming local French bakery, known for its flaky croissants, artisan pastries, and aromatic coffees. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast indoors or outside while soaking in the aroma of freshly baked bread. 10:00 AM – Château Experience Your driver will meet you at your hotel or Airbnb and whisk you away along scenic vineyard-lined roads dotted with olive trees. Your destination: a breathtaking French-inspired château. Step inside this architectural gem, designed by French artisans, and enjoy a guided wine tasting in several elegant rooms overlooking the valley below. Choose from a variety of tasting experiences, and if you wish, savor lunch at the château. Alternatively, I can recommend a local French café for a relaxed midday meal. 1:00 PM – Garden or Estate Experience After lunch, continue your journey through “Sonoma’s France.” Choose from one of the following: ■ Monet-Inspired Gardens: Walk through brilliant flower gardens and taste Sonoma Coast-grown wines among vibrant colors and peaceful views. ■ Lavender Fields (Seasonal): In summer, visit local lavender farms that evoke the beauty of Provence. ■ Rose Garden & Perfume Workshop: Explore a garden boasting over 65 varieties of roses. The owners, inspired by their honeymoon in the South of France, offer guided garden tours and a workshop on crafting rose perfume — which you can purchase directly. ■ Honey Tasting Room: Sample rare honeys from around the world in a beautifully decorated Provençal-style setting. 4:00 PM – Champagne Finale End your French-inspired day at an elegant champagne bar, where you can relax indoors or outside with a glass (or coupe!) of sparkling perfection. Salut!
